Kimono

Finding inspiration in the Japanese kimono, Lynne adds her own style to this timeless, elegant design. Using luxurious silk and meticulous craftsmanship, Lynne's kimonos are renowned for their beauty and comfort. Of course, the individually, handpainted designs mean that each kimono is an original. The flowing sleeves of the kimono are elegantly detailed by handpainted cuffs. Vertical, handpainted panels on the front and back of the jacket are not just gorgeous designs, they are also very slimming!

Lynne creates two major collections a year. The fall collection offers deeper colours like navy and emerald green, and highlights designs like those beautiful autumn leaves. In spring, Lynne offers lighter, brighter colours like cream and turquoise, and highlights icons like tulips and dragonflies. Of course, as an artist, inspiration may strike Lynne at any time! Available in small, medium, large and extra-large, the Kimono is also available in two lengths.

Classic Jacket

It is said that there is nothing like a Chanel. Perhaps, but Lynne's Classic Jacket certainly comes close. The Classic Jacket offers a tapered sleeve, and individually handpainted panels on the front and back of each jacket. Combining the simple elegance of the Chanel jacket with luxurious silk charmeuse, the Classic jacket is perfect for every occasion.

Lynne's Classic Jacket is available as a short jacket and as a long jacket; both are available in small, medium and large.

Sheer Georgette Shawls & Scarves

Lynne designs gorgeous shawls and scarves that can complement or complete any outfit. Made out of sheer georgette, each piece is hemmed with handpainted silk panels. These original designs complement the colour and detail on Lynne's jackets and blouses, and offer a striking addition to that 'little black dress.'

Scarves are approximately 12 inches by 60 inches. Shawls are approximately 30 inches by 84 inches. Be sure to visit Lynne at the spring and Christmas craft shows to see the latest colours and designs.

Silk Cap-Sleeve Blouse

Come see Lynne's newest item, a cap-sleeve summer blouse, at the upcoming spring craft sales. This gorgeous silk blouse has a jewel neckline and one handpainted panel decorating the front. Under a jacket or on its own, this blouse also looks great paired with the georgette scarf.

Camisoles, Pants & Skirts

Lynne also offers handcrafted silk camisoles, pants and skirts to coordinate with her jackets. These coordinating pieces are available in classic colours (navy, black, and ivory), and frequently in Lynne's famous jewel tones (emerald, red, turquoise). Made from high quality silk, these pieces are simple, elegant and very comfortable.

Camisoles are available in small medium and large sizes. Pants and skirts offer a simple, elastic waist and are available in small, medium and large sizes.

Long & Short Sleeve T-Shirt

Combining the beauty and elegance of pure silk with the casual care and comfort of a cotton t-shirt, Lynne's long and short sleeve t-shirts are a welcome addition to anyone's closet. Made of 100% pre-shrunk cotton, the front of each t-shirt has a handpainted, pure silk applique.

Similar to Lynne's jackets, t-shirt colour and designs change with the seasons. In time for spring and summer, Lynne t-shirts are available in lighter colours like turquoise and white, with handpainted designs of tulips and dragonflies. In fall, Lynne's t-shirts are available in darker colours, such as black and navy, highlighting more seasonal designs, like Ottawa's famous autumn leaves. Whether you're strolling in the market or hiking in the Gatineaus, these t-shirts paired up with one of Lynne's vests are perfect for that crisp autumn day.

Polar Fleece Vest & Scarf

For those crisp autumn evenings, Lynne combines soft polar fleece with a handpainted silk applique. These vests and scarves are cozy and warm, sporty and practical, elegant and fashionable. Vests are adorned with a silk applique on the back and one on the front, right side. Lynne's scarves sport two appliques, one at each end. Both pieces are available in black and navy, and make a great companion for your Lynne Kiel t-shirt.
